Recently, our product application engineers traveled to a Guangdong airline to participate in aircraft engine maintenance. They brought along the C65 series 3D measurement industrial endoscope, the most comprehensive and high-performance product in the Coantec Ltd. product line. In addition to the clear image quality of standard industrial endoscopes, this product also utilizes binocular measurement technology to precisely quantify targets using various measurement methods, including point-to-point, point-to-line, point-to-surface, multi-line segment, and area measurement. Its resolution reaches 0.01mm, and its measurement error is no more than 5%, an industry-leading level.

In the nearly eight years since its establishment, Coantec Ltd. has invested a large number of R&D personnel, including numerous optical, electronic, mechanical, software, and hardware engineers, focusing on the research and development of three-dimensional measurement technology and achieving remarkable results.

In 2018, we developed the first generation of the C65 series products. After several appearance improvements and technical updates, the new C65 series 3D measurement industrial endoscope was fully launched to the market this year. We have successfully delivered several units at home and abroad and received good customer feedback.

The C65 series features a high-definition touchscreen for more flexible and convenient operation. It can measure targets point-to-point, point-to-line, point-to-surface, multiple line segments, and areas, achieving highly accurate results. The C65 utilizes a binocular stereo photogrammetry system. Two cameras with identical performance and fixed relative positions photograph the target from different angles, extracting the disparity of spatial points and then creating a 3D model based on this disparity map. The disparity map contains distance information for the scene. Image matching of the disparity map extracted from the stereo image pair is performed, and measurement is only possible if a good match is achieved.

The C65 series of high-definition 3D measurement industrial endoscopes are available in two sizes: 4mm and 6mm. They can be replaced with different-sized pipes as needed. Equipped with a large-capacity battery and a long standby time, they can be used for outdoor aircraft borescope inspections, bringing greater convenience to maintenance and inspection personnel.
